• They are held in a safe and comfortable home environment. 

 

• They are suitable for all ages. If you have a passion for music, you’'re never too young or old to pursue it!

 

• They are suitable for absolute beginners. If you're just starting out, that's great! I can teach you all the essentials of drums, and much, much more.  

 

• They are suitable for intermediate/advanced players. If you've already been playing drums for a while, that's fine too. I can help you fill out any gaps in your knowledge, and help you to advance on the skills you already have.

 

• Lesson plans are fully customizable. This means the content and structure of the lessons is based entirely around what styles/songs you want to learn. If you're really interested in a particular style of music, we can focus your learning around that style, so you get the most out of your lessons. You can learn at your own pace, depending on how much time you have to practise and your style of learning. Because I understand that not everyone learns in the same way,  I don't expect every one to follow the same learning journey. 

 

 

      Resources Include:

 

• Study material including charts, drum music and much more.

 

• Demo tracks of original songs that have been written and recorded by me, that are relevent to the song of technique being learnt.

 

      Extras:

 

• You will also gain practical and valuable jamming experience, eg learn to play in time and interact musically in an ensemble situation (this is a bonus of having a tutor who can specialize in both guitar and drums!)

 

• If you are interested you can learn about the history and music of a range of notable drummers, past and present, from many different genres.

 

• Guidance and assistance when purchasing drums or other equipment for the first time can be provided, at no extra cost.

 

• You're always welcome to contact me outside your normal scheduled lessons for advice or assistance. I'm always happy to help!
